Attorney Doug Stoehr has dedicated his entire legal career to representing people who have been injured due to the carelessness of others. Doug handles all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases including car wrecks, motorcycle accidents, truck collisions, construction accidents, nursing home abuse, nursing home neglect, hospital negligence, dog bites and premise liability.
After college Doug was an insurance claims representative for two years. Doug returned to the claims industry after a 10-year career in sales and marketing. He worked during the day handling insurance claims while attending law school at night at Temple Law in Philadelphia. He gained tremendous insight into how the insurance industry views personal injury claims. This has been an advantage to Doug and his clients when handing their cases.

Doug has been recognized by his peers for his achievements and the results that he obtains for his clients. He was inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum which is a national organization limited to trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience, and excellence, by achieving million dollar verdicts, awards, or settlements. Doug has settled three cases in excess of $1,000,000.00 in conservative venues. He is also recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. Super Lawyers is a ratings service of outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 5% of the lawyers in a state can be named to Super Lawyers. Doug was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. Doug has also been rated by AVVO, an attorney-rating service. He has obtained the highest rating of "10-Superb." Most recently Doug has been invited to join Best Attorneys of America. Less than 1% of the lawyers in America have been invited to this prestigious organization.
Doug also published the magazine Just Cause a publication about accidents, injuries, and the law. Just Cause is distributed to 30,000 households in Blair County. He has also lectured on the law, both as an adjunct lecturer at Penn State – Altoona, and at continuing legal education courses offered by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Doug is active in his church and community. He regularly financially supports various charitable organizations in this area. He is a proud father of his daughter, Alexandra, a school psychologist in Vermont. He is most interested in providing outstanding legal services to his clients and taking care of their legal and claims needs.
