DOUG STOEHR: My name is attorney Doug Stoehr. I’ve been licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania for about 15 years. I started my own firm in 2004. I was born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania. I was educated in the State of Pennsylvania. I attended college nearby, remained here for several years after graduation from college, moved to the Washington DC area, and then decided to make a major career change by moving to Philadelphia.

And I attended Temple Law School in the evening program, worked during the day for two large insurance companies, gained invaluable insight into how the insurance industry works by handling claims on behalf of the insurance companies. And I’ve been able to utilize those experiences in assisting me on how I represent my injured clients against these same insurance companies.

When I graduated from law school, I had the opportunity to remain in Philadelphia and practice law or move back to Washington DC. But I wanted to move back to my hometown. I thought it’d be a terrific place to raise my daughter. It’s been a very positive move coming back home.
