NAT SMITH: I’m attorney Nat Smith. I’ve always had a compassion for doing plaintiff’s work. The period of time that I spent doing defense work for the insurance industry was to gain insight as much as anything. It was an opportunity to make myself better qualified to represent plaintiffs in the long run.

Oftentimes, I’m sharing my experiences as a former defense attorney with Doug so that we can best anticipate possibly how the insurance companies will be defending the cases that we handle.

Throughout my years of practice, I’ve worked in Pittsburg. I’ve worked for big firms. I’ve worked for the insurance companies. I chose to come back here and work in an area that I was familiar with, in an area that I grew up in, in an area that I loved to help people that I knew or maybe I would know their relatives, people that I felt knew the quality of legal representation that I could provide.
