DOUG STOEHR: I have represented many, many people who have been injured at a hospital or nursing home. If your claim involve a parent or an aunt or uncle who’s in a nursing home or hospital, they’re vulnerable. You’re vulnerable. You are placing the care of your loved one in their hands. You want to assume that when you go home at night from visiting them, they’re going to be taken care of. But unfortunately, they’re not always taken care of.
