Million Dollar Advocates

Attorney Stoehr became a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2010. The Forum was started in 1993 and is limited to trial attorneys who have demonstrated excellency in trial advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award or settlement in the amount of $1,000,000.00 or more. Less than 1% of U.S. attorneys are members.

Less than a handful of personal injury attorneys are members of the Forum in this region. Attorney Stoehr obtained a settlement for a Duncansville, Pennsylvania man who was injured in a motor vehicle accident when returning home from work near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in July 2004. The client was operating a utility van when he was struck in the rear by a box truck. The client underwent a great deal of medical treatment including three failed low back surgeries. Ultimately his lumbar spine was fused. He was only 31- years old at the time earning approximately $56,000.00 a year. The case settled for $2,000,000.00 in December 2007. An additional settlement was obtained for the client regarding his workers' compensation benefits.

Attorney Stoehr settled another case in October 2010 in the amount of $1,650,000.00. The client was standing in the vicinity of an excavator who was digging a hole. A commercial-grade chain snapped and struck the client across the top of the head and in the eye and face. The client suffered a permanent loss of vision to the left eye, with a complete loss of smell and partial loss of taste. The financial future of both clients has been secured by these large settlements.
