MLB Game Leads To Fan Injury Lawsuit

| May 4, 2020 | Uncategorized

This news story may be one of the most interesting and atypical personal injuries claims that has been publicized recently!  As some people may remember, a woman watching a baseball game at Wrigley Field a few years ago was hit in the face by a foul ball.  Recently, this woman has filed a lawsuit against both the Chicago Cubs and the MLB as a result.  The woman states that the foul ball caused bone fractures in her face, broke some of her teeth and caused nerve damage, and knocked her unconscious. Since that time, she feels that her senses of taste and smell have been impacted, too.  Her lawsuit claims that her injury is a direct result of the lack of appropriate netting near spectator seating around the baseball diamond.

If you have recently been injured, especially if that injury involves your head and neck, it is important to closely monitor your body’s response to injury.  If your accident was due to the fault of another, it may also be time to seek legal action.   If you or a loved one has recently been involved in an accident due to the fault of another, please contact Altoona, PA area personal injury attorney Doug Stoehr to set up an initial, free consultation.  His law office can be reached by calling his firm at 814-946-4100.
